Challenge

Twin City Outdoor Services had a goal to organize and streamline the bidding process of their concrete services with their customers. They were looking for a mobile solution that would organize and easily communicate the scope of work in an easy to read report.

As they searched through the market place of bidding software available they began to find a common theme. There were a number of them with great features. However, they lacked an easy to use mobile app with visual geo-location mapping. Another constraint for TCOS is that they already had a CRM and pipeline management system which integrated with their accounting software at the end of the construction process. They were not looking to replace those systems.

 

Solution

The solution they chose was the One Spot mobile assessment app. Next they implemented the use of One Spot’s project feature to push the scope of work directly to their foreman’s mobile device. Finally, Twin City Outdoor Services and One Spot developed an API to migrate the collection data into their existing legacy system.

Implementing the One Spot easy to use app with their team; they were able to collect data faster in the field, attach pictures, notes, documents, repair numbers (sq. ft, pricing, etc.) to areas within the scope, create quick professional reports and ultimately close more business. One Spot eliminated any confusion on what needed to be and specifically where it needed to be repaired. The API migration further streamlined their process.

The end result is that TCOS was able to remain organized and professional with their clients, engaging with them more during the process and increasing their bottom line.
